I walked up my drive way. It felt weird having the house to myself for a full week. At least it gave me time to find away to tell my parents about my transformation. I unlocked the door and turned off the alarm with some difficulty (got it in the end). I grunted. My little sister was supposed to be home soon and i really needed sleep. I climbed the steps and curled up on my now really small bed. As soon as i hit my bed i was knocked out.
When i woke up i felt the end of a broom stick jabbing me in the thigh. I opened one wolf like eye and stared at my sister. I laughed at her feable attempt to hurt me.
"Amy quit it!" I laughed as she hit a nerve.
She jumped back. "You sound like my brother but..don't look like him! who the hell are you?!"
"It's me Aims... just different..." I smiled.
She looked at me and realized it was me. The only fact that could have proved this was that I was, still am the only person who calls her "Aims".
She wrapped her small arms around my neck. "Mom and dad will kill you when they get home." she said in my ear.
I scoffed. "I got a week to explain."
People believed i watched over my little sister... truth is she watches me!
"Well Gordon..." she looked me over. "Big Dragon needs his sleep. Tomorrow's school."
I laughed even harder. I finally fell asleep and dreamt of how my life would result as a dragon.
The next morning my sister woke me up by hitting me in the head with a frying pan.
"God fucking damn it!" I roared.
"Good.." she said, "you're awake. Get dressed and go to school. Mum is worried sick that you'd wait for me and I can take care of myself."
I shook my head. She was right, the clock read 7:50 and my bus came really soon. I quickly put on my uniform pants, for that was all could fit over my new body(my tail sort of made a hole for itself). The black scales and grey underbelly resembled my uniform shirt so it should be fine.
I hugged my sister good bye and ran out the door. I made it to my bus stop at 7:55 so i sat there like a dog waiting for its master. Everyone that came by me either shrieked and ran or stared at me wide eyed. Only a brave little girl came up to me.
"You'we a dwagon awen't you?" she asked petting my scales.
I nodded not wanting to scare her. She continued petting me and tugged on my ears. "you'we like a doggy."
I smiled and bent down flattening my ears. for her to see more clearly.
"You'we like a doggy dwagon!" She wrapped her arms around me and wouldn't let go until her bus came. I promised her I would be here tomorrow.
"bye mr.dwagon" she said to me as her little friends stared in wonder.
I winked at her and continued to wait for my bus. When it arrived everyone on it shift to the back trying to avoid me. I shrugged and filled a seat all curled up. The next few stops held the same results except for my friend Jason who just sat on the seat opposite of me.
"Hey Gword." he jeered. he always pronounced my name funny.
I looked at him. "how'd you know it's me?" i asked.
"Amy called and told me, plus you got the scars from your catapult incident and you have fur, wolf ears and eyes. your favourite animal is a wolf besides rabbits so i figured it was you."
His older sister looked at me strangely. I shrugged at her and she gave me an evil stare. ~ Oh well~ i thought, ~ you win some you lose some~
Jason and i spent the last twenty minutes of the ride discussing the recent news and how i was going to handle my new self. I explained that like most other new or older dragons were doing, going back to their lives, i would do the same. After that we went back to our normal arguements about Gears of War and Halo.
When we arrived at school the grounds were empty.
"you must have scared everybody " Jason joked.
"Ha Ha" i said sarcastically. "Get to class!"
he rolled his eyes and we parted ways. him into the school, I into the ever so lovely port-a-pack.
